Case Manager (Athens)

At APS Recovery Greece, we specialize in the management and resolution of non-performing exposures, supporting financial institutions and investors across multiple asset classes. We are currently seeking a Case Manager to strengthen our Corporate Debt Recovery team in Athens.

About the Role

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of non-performing loans (NPLs), design and implement workout strategies, and collaborate closely with legal and financial experts to achieve sustainable and effective debt resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a designated NPL portfolio, applying tailored and effective recovery strategies.
• Conduct negotiations and workout discussions with debtors, legal representatives, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with lawyers, bailiffs, and external partners on secured recovery processes.
• Monitor legal proceedings and ensure timely progress of assigned cases.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
• Oversee restructuring strategies (e.g., settlements, DPOs) in alignment with legal and loan administration teams.
• Draft and present restructuring proposals, settlement agreements, and action plans for investor approval.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and the Group Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, debt recovery, or corporate lending.
• Knowledge of legal procedures related to debt recovery (foreclosure, special administration, platforms).
• Understanding of the real estate market will be considered an asset.
• Experience reviewing loan files and security documentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure with an agile, solution-oriented mindset.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
